We all have those days, your to-do list seems never-ending, and yet the baby is superglued to your leg. Parenting has its up and downs, and that’s why positive affirmations are so important when you’re feeling down. What’s your favourite parenting affirmation?

  • I’m the best Mom for my child – You are. No one else knows your child better than you – no expert, influencer, or in-law.
It’s okay to take care of me – We give away a lot as mothers. It’s really okay for there to be times where you put yourself first.
I will speak with love – Choose kind and loving words when speaking to your child. One day these words will become their inner voice.
I am a good mom – You are, even as you work daily to become a better one, or if you are having a bad day.
  • Today, I choose to be present – Put down the phone, listen attentively, appreciate each moment. There’s nothing like your undivided attention to make your child feel loved.
  • This too shall pass – Sleepless nights, clinginess, tantrums? Just know that each hardship is temporary. Time is always moving, and the hard days will be traded for simpler ones.
