If you’re suffering from sexual frustration due to diminished sensitivity in the genital region, difficulty in achieving orgasm, or have a desire for stronger orgasms, treatment using the G-Shot can help you achieve increased arousal and higher orgasm quality. When the arousal you feel physically cannot catch up with the arousal you feel emotionally, sex can become a very frustrating activity. Dr. Darren Lazare, MD, offers the G-Shot to women seeking enhanced sexual pleasure so they can finally feel like the sensual beings they are.

What Is the G-Shot?

The G-Shot is a non-surgical procedure. It’s a small injection of hyaluronic acid collagen filler placed in the vagina and into the Grafenberg spot or G-spot. The G-Spot is a highly sensitive area of the anterior vaginal wall that can help trigger orgasms during sexual intercourse. The filler that is injected into the vagina causes the G-Spot to become more pronounced, creating a larger surface area of the G-Spot, leading to increased contact during sexual intercourse. The result is an increase in stimulation and a more pleasurable sexual experience.

I am so grateful to have had Dr. Lazare and his team perform my surgery, I required a pelvic floor repair consisting of Uterosacral Suspension, Cystocele, Rectocele, and an Enterocele Repair. In my opinion I was in the best hands. From the first consult, through the surgery and the follow up, he took his time, explaining the procedures, and/or options, and answered my questions.

G-Shot Injection Procedure

The G-Shot Procedure is very quick and is usually done in around 5 minutes. To begin, your provider will administer either a local or topical anesthetic to the injection site so you do not feel a thing. Once the treatment area has been given time to numb up, your provider will insert a speculum to properly access the G-Spot before injecting it with a fine-gauge needle. The injection only lasts for around 8 seconds, and when it is complete, it provides immediate volume to the G-Spot.

G-Shot Results and Recovery

There is no downtime or recovery period after treatment with the G-Shot. You may experience mild tenderness or bleeding immediately following your treatment, but this should go away after a day or so. You will have to wait at least four hours after injection to resume any sexual activity. The results of the G-Shot last for 6-12 months, and treatment can be repeated as needed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You Have Questions, We Have Answers.

What are the benefits of the G-Shot?

Benefits of the G-Shot include increased sexual arousal and sexual stimulation. The G-shot also provides a higher frequency of high-quality orgasms.

Is the G-Shot safe?

Yes. The G-Shot is a safe and effective option for helping women achieve increased sexual satisfaction. Because the treatment uses hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in our bodies, it poses for little risk for adverse reactions.

Does the G-Shot hurt?

For most patients, there is no discomfort or pain. This is because a topical or local numbing agent will be used prior to injecting the tissue.

Can you have more than one G-Shot treatment?

Absolutely, because the results are not permanent, you will need repeat treatments to continue enjoying the benefits. For most people, results last between 6 and 12 months.

What is the G-Shot?

The G-Shot is a simple, non-surgical treatment that can help women feel more connected to their bodies and enhance sexual pleasure. By gently injecting hyaluronic acid into the G-spot, the area’s natural sensitivity may be heightened, helping improve arousal and satisfaction during intimacy.

How does the G-Shot procedure work?

During the G-Shot procedure, a healthcare provider ensures your comfort by using a gentle local anesthetic. A carefully designed speculum is used to locate the G-spot, and hyaluronic acid is then gently injected to enhance sensitivity. The procedure is quick and straightforward, usually taking about 10 to 15 minutes, with the injection itself lasting just a few seconds.

How long do the effects of the G-Shot last?

The results of the G-Shot can differ from person to person, typically lasting three to four months. Many women find that follow-up treatments help maintain and continue enhancing their comfort and pleasure over time.

Are there any risks or side effects associated with the G-Shot?

While the G-Shot is considered a relatively safe procedure, some potential side effects include minor pain, bleeding at the injection site, and in rare cases, urinary retention or infection. Most side effects are mild and resolve quickly.

Who is an ideal candidate for the G-Shot?

The G-Shot is designed for sexually active women who have normal sexual function but wish to enhance their sexual experience. It is not intended as a treatment for sexual dysfunction or low libido. A consultation with a qualified healthcare provider can help.

What should I expect during the G-Shot procedure?

During the G-Shot procedure, a local anesthetic is applied to minimize discomfort. A specially designed speculum is used to locate the G-spot accurately, and then a small amount of hyaluronic acid filler is injected into that area. The entire process usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes, with the actual injection lasting less than eight seconds. Patients can typically return to their normal activities immediately afterward.

Are there any specific contraindications for receiving a G-Shot?

Yes, certain individuals may not be suitable candidates for the G-Shot. Contraindications include active infections in the vaginal area, allergies to hyaluronic acid or other components of the filler, and certain medical conditions that affect healing or blood clotting. It is essential for potential candidates to discuss their medical history with their healthcare provider before undergoing the procedure.

How does the G-Shot differ from other sexual enhancement treatments?

The G-Shot specifically targets the G-spot by injecting hyaluronic acid to enhance its size and sensitivity, which can improve sexual arousal and pleasure. In contrast, other treatments like the O-Shot use platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from the patient’s blood to promote tissue regeneration and enhance overall sexual function in multiple areas, including the clitoris and vaginal walls. Each treatment has its unique benefits and mechanisms of action.

Can I resume sexual activity immediately after receiving a G-Shot?

Yes, patients are generally able to resume sexual activity immediately after receiving a G-Shot. However, it is advisable to follow any specific post-procedure instructions provided by your healthcare provider, which may include avoiding tampon use for a few hours following the injection. Most women report enhanced sensitivity after the procedure, making it an opportune time to explore sexual intimacy if desired.

How does the O-Shot work?

The O-Shot involves drawing a small sample of blood from the patient, which is then processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the red blood cells. This PRP, rich in growth factors, is injected into specific areas of the vagina and clitoris. The growth factors stimulate tissue regeneration, increase blood flow, and enhance sensitivity, leading to improved sexual function and overall vaginal health.

What can I expect during the recovery period after receiving the O-Shot?

Most patients experience little to no downtime after the O-Shot procedure. While some may notice mild swelling, redness, or discomfort at the injection site, these symptoms typically resolve within a few days. Patients are generally advised to avoid sexual intercourse for 1 to 2 days post-procedure and can return to their normal daily activities immediately.

Are there any contraindications for receiving the O-Shot?

Yes, certain conditions may preclude someone from receiving the O-Shot. These include active infections at the injection site, certain blood disorders (such as platelet dysfunction), active cancer, pregnancy, and use of blood thinners. It is essential for individuals to discuss their medical history with their healthcare provider to determine if they are suitable candidates for the procedure.

How soon can I expect to see results from the O-Shot?

While some patients may notice immediate improvements in sensitivity or arousal shortly after the procedure, optimal results typically develop over a few weeks. Many women report experiencing significant benefits within 3 to 4 months as tissue regeneration occurs. The effects can last anywhere from 12 to 18 months, depending on individual factors.

Is there any preparation required before getting the O-Shot?

Yes, patients may need to follow specific pre-procedure guidelines. These can include avoiding anti-inflammatory medications (like NSAIDs) and blood thinners for a week prior to treatment to minimize bleeding and bruising. Additionally, it’s advisable to arrive well-hydrated and free of infections or other health issues that could affect eligibility for the procedure. Consulting with a healthcare provider will provide personalized instructions based on individual circumstances.
