Dr. Darren Lazare and his team are proud to offer all their services to the residents of Vancouver and the surrounding areas. From Morpheus8V to labiaplasty to incontinence surgeries, we can address all your most intimate concerns.
What is Morpheus8V?
Morpheus8V is a unique non-surgical, FDA-approved vaginal rejuvenation treatment. It uses radiofrequency energy and microneedling to tighten and rejuvenate vaginal skin. By making micro-injuries in the skin using ultra-fine needles and emitting radiofrequency energy to warm the tissues, the treatment stimulates collagen production to address a variety of concerns. Morpheus8V can improve vaginal lubrication, reduce scarring, vaginal sensitivity, and tighter vaginal tissues.
Who is a Good Candidate for Morphues8V?
Morpheus8V may be a great option for women experiencing concerns such as vaginal laxity, dryness or irritation, discomfort with intimacy, changes in sensation or orgasm, bladder leakage, or other intimate changes. Ideal candidates are over the age of 18, in good overall health, and have realistic expectations for treatment.
Patients who have a pelvic infection, active cancer, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a recent history of pelvic or vaginal surgery typically need to look into other treatment options.
Morpheus8V Treatment
To ensure your comfort, a topical anesthetic is applied before treatment begins. The Morpheus8V device is then carefully guided within the vaginal canal and along the labia. You may feel gentle warmth or pressure, but most patients find the experience quite manageable. The treatment typically lasts no more than 20 to 30 minutes, followed by the application of a calming gel.

Morpheus8V Aftercare
There is very little downtime after your Morpheus8V treatment, and most patients can go back to their normal routine immediately. You will want to avoid sexual intercourse for about a week and avoid inserting tampons for a week. You should also stay away from heavy exercise, swimming, and taking hot baths for at least 7 days.
Patients may see results immediately, but it can take up to three sessions, spaced one month apart, to see optimal results. Final results can take up to six weeks, and those results can last for 12-18 months. Yearly touch-ups are needed to maintain your results.
